UKAHFT round 2.

Sunday 23rd May saw a small but enthusiastic team of Fort Airgun Club members take the long trip down to Bisley. For some, the trip proved to be very worthwhile. Kieran Lewis returned a personal best of 57/60, finishing second in his class, maintaing the lead in the 14-16 Juniors. What a run of form young Kie is in!

Once again it proved to be a top showing from the Lewis family with Brian scoring an excellent 53/60, Father and son putting in the top two Fort scores on the day. Brian missed out on a better score when he was distracted and forgot to load a pellet, causing him to register a zero on a relatively simple target. Bill Jones continued his run of form too with 52/60, well done mate.

Sunday 16th May, 2010

Fort Airgun Club held it's first competition at the new grounds on Sunday 16th May, 2010. Nearly 50 shooters turned up to contest round 1 of the Fort Summer Grand Prix series, the first of 6 rounds.

A well recieved 30 lane course was set out, making the most of the excellent terrain available. Although rain had been forecast, the weather couldn't have been better, with a light but very tricky wind to contend with.

William Jefferies almost managed the first ever clear course at a Fort shoot. His 59/60 topped the score sheets. Derek Whittingham finished with a personal best of 58/60 to take 2nd place.
